More images of Sony's secret PlayStation Phone prototype have emerged.

Tech site Engadget - who broke the story of the phone's existence - has now shown off a selection of new close-up images, which you can check out below.
The site reckons that the PS Phone - which as expected comes in the form of a large screen with slide out controls - is likely to run on Android 3.0, also known as 'Gingerbread'.

The phone will supposedly feature a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and a screen between 3.7 and 4.1 inches.

Its latest report reiterates that the phone's protoype name is 'Zeus' and that it appears to have an 8GB microSD card slot. It also holds at least 512MB of internal storage.

The site reports that the handset is around 17mm thick - around the same width as PSPgo.
