No release date is set for this horror film coming from the minds of Jim O'Rear, Daniel Taylor, and Tommy Golden. This group of minds are not only friends but I was apart of this film alongside one of the main characters played by ThePauseMenu's own Constance Medrano. A lot of traffic has hit the Facebook Page for The Hospital and fans are being created every day. Follow the process because hopefully near December of 2012 this movie will be released. Here's the official synopsis of the film: Old St. Leopold's Hospital has many urban legends surrounding it, but the residents of Bridgeport all agree on one thing: tortured souls roam its abandoned halls. The mystery proves too much for a pretty young student who decides to investigate for her senior class project. Unfortunately, she does not find ghosts. She, instead, finds Stanley... serial rapist, murderer, and psychopath. As the young girl becomes Stanley's new pet, a team of young investigators descend on the hospital to "hunt some ghosts." Stanley sees nothing but fun and games in his future. But, what Stanley does not know is that the hospital truly is haunted and the restless spirits there are not happy with what he has been doing. "Walk faster Tommy! Get to that light!" Ready to be creeped out? Cinedigm/Flatiron Films has debuted the first creepy teaser trailer for Ciaran Foy's Citadel, an Irish horror thriller about some group of "hooded" twisted feral children who torment a man and his young child. The film stars Aneurin Barnard (Ironclad, Hunky Dory, Guinea Pigs), along with Scotland's James Cosmo (Braveheart, Troy, Chronicles of Narnia) and Wunmi Mosuka. The synopsis may or may not clear things up: An agoraphobic father teams up with a renegade priest to save his daughter from the clutches of a gang of twisted feral children. Take a look! Though no one can see him, Hollow Face lurks in the corners, desperately desiring love but only knowing how to spread fear and hate. He creeps into the life of John Farrow (Clive Owen) after Farrow's beloved 13-year-old daughter Mia (Ella Purnell) is assaulted in their home. The line between the real and the imaginary blurs as fissures start to open within the family unit. It seems that no security measure can keep Hollow Face out. From visionary filmmaker Juan Carlos Fresnadillo ("28 Weeks Later," the upcoming "Highlander" reboot), "Intruders" is the chilling story of two children living in different countries, each visited nightly by a faceless being who wants to take possession of them. |
