Scott Pilgrim must defeat his new girlfriend's seven evil exes in order to win her heart.
This film flowed seamlessly from beginning to end with spunk and joy. Video game references, parodied superheroes, romance, drama, comedy, and fight scenes made this movie enjoyable at every minute.
Character portrayal was spot on and the awkwardness of Michael Cera hasn’t grown old yet. Supporting cast was perfect and the comic relief was nice. Dialogue was snappy, straight to the point, and fun to listen to. Visuals were bright and the film should win awards for the creativity of some of the scenes and how the story was completed with on-screen help; subtitles, video game-like HUD, and comic book style screenplay.
This movie is re-watchable and definitely not a disappointment. Perfect date movie for gamers and overall a fun movie that brings smiles. Not to mention Michael Cera learned to play bass and actual plays within the movie.
