Tomorrow, August 30th, Magnolia Pictures brings V/H/Sto VOD and we have a 30-second TV spot promoting this release. If you're hoping to see this anthology "found footage" horror film on the big screen, Magnolia aims to give it a limited theatrical run on October 5th. Directed by Adam Wingard, Ti West, David Bruckner, Glenn McQuaid, Joe Swanberg and Radio Silence, the film concerns a group of misfits who are hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house and acquire a rare VHS tape, but they discover more found footage than they bargained for. No release date is set for this horror film coming from the minds of Jim O'Rear, Daniel Taylor, and Tommy Golden. This group of minds are not only friends but I was apart of this film alongside one of the main characters played by ThePauseMenu's own Constance Medrano. A lot of traffic has hit the Facebook Page for The Hospital and fans are being created every day. Follow the process because hopefully near December of 2012 this movie will be released. Here's the official synopsis of the film: Old St. Leopold's Hospital has many urban legends surrounding it, but the residents of Bridgeport all agree on one thing: tortured souls roam its abandoned halls. The mystery proves too much for a pretty young student who decides to investigate for her senior class project. Unfortunately, she does not find ghosts. She, instead, finds Stanley... serial rapist, murderer, and psychopath. As the young girl becomes Stanley's new pet, a team of young investigators descend on the hospital to "hunt some ghosts." Stanley sees nothing but fun and games in his future. But, what Stanley does not know is that the hospital truly is haunted and the restless spirits there are not happy with what he has been doing. "Walk faster Tommy! Get to that light!" Ready to be creeped out? Cinedigm/Flatiron Films has debuted the first creepy teaser trailer for Ciaran Foy's Citadel, an Irish horror thriller about some group of "hooded" twisted feral children who torment a man and his young child. The film stars Aneurin Barnard (Ironclad, Hunky Dory, Guinea Pigs), along with Scotland's James Cosmo (Braveheart, Troy, Chronicles of Narnia) and Wunmi Mosuka. The synopsis may or may not clear things up: An agoraphobic father teams up with a renegade priest to save his daughter from the clutches of a gang of twisted feral children. Take a look! |
