This week I review Zookeeper as it is Apples free app of the week.
In the game you are a zoo keeper. Pretty simple, yea? Its just like another match 3 game except its with these 8-bit block animals. The premise is the animals broke out of there cages to mutiny against the owner of the zoo. You have to wrangle them back.
There are three modes to this game. Normal, tokoton, and verses. In order to play verses you must buy the app.
In normal mode you play in a series of timed stages while the most annoying music plays and completely breaks your focus. The first 6 stages run pretty smoothly, however stage 7 on is more difficult. The time flies and now your looking for more pairs.
In Tokoton mode there is no set stage limit, however the stages are still timed and you have to "catch" 100 animals before progressing.
If by chance you run out of time in either mode your 8-bit boss tells you how bad youve done and is completely unappreciative of the fact you wasted 6 mins of your life.
The game is painfully addicting though.
I give zookeeper a 3/5
Its addicting but annoying.
Could be used as a tool to help children develop hand eye coordination-maybe.
Stay safe gamers!
