The E-1000 model has just one monoauraul speaker equipped, while previous models have sported dual stereo speakers. Happily, it still comes with a headphone port.

Along with WiFi and onboard stereo, Sony also seems to have jettisoned whatever it is that makes the PSP 2000 model so light – it comes in at 223 g (about .5 lbs), as opposed to the more familiar model’s 189 g (about .42 lbs).

The new model has been priced at €99, $99 and AUD $140.
