Usernames, passwords and email addresses are the list of features affected, however no personal financial or credit card information was obtained in the attack.
Bethesda’s advised that users change their passwords for its websites, including its community forums and the statistics site for Brink, further adding to “keep an eye out for suspicious emails and account activity.”
The attacks follow a warning over the weekend from hacker group Lulz Sec on Twitter.
“We were going to keep this little treasure chest to ourselves, but it appears the hand has been bitten. Say your prayers, Brink users. >:],” it said in one tweet.
A second tweet added: “Big lulz coming up in the near future. Time to show these bitches how it’s done. #Brink #Bethesda #ZeniMax.“
The real question is who is next and can this group or person be stopped?
